We wish to inform our authors and collaborators that the editorial office of Genes & Genetic Systems (GGS) has decided to revise the publication fee structure for non-members. This decision has been prompted by the increased volume of submissions and the consequent additional burden on our editorial processes.

Revised Fees Effective from June 1, 2024:
    • For Non-Members: The Article Processing Charge (APC) will be adjusted to 300,000 yen (previously 200,000 yen).
    • For GSJ Members: The APC will remain unchanged at 100,000 yen.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter. This adjustment will enable us to maintain the high standards of service and support you expect from our journal.
